Men's Cashmere Crew Neck Jumpers
Our men's cashmere crew neck jumpers are so luxuriously soft you can wear them against bare skin. That softness comes from 100% cashmere, the same fibre that keeps you warm without weighing you down, so they work worn alone or layered over a t-shirt. Every one is cut with a little room through the body, and sits easily either way. Delicate to the touch, yet designed to last a lifetime, these men's cashmere jumpers are timeless wardrobe staples, designed in Edinburgh.

Tradition and Craft in Every Stitch
Every jumper in this collection is knitted in one of three weights. The signature crew is the finest, smooth against the skin and the one to layer over a shirt. The mid-weight has more texture to it, and more warmth with it. And the cable knit is the heaviest of the three, with a pattern you can see and feel. Whichever you choose, the fibre does the same thing over time: cashmere gets softer the more it's worn, and settles rather than sags, season after season.
Traditional knitting, in cuts made for how men dress now. Worn on their own or layered, they take a refined approach to everyday dressing, in the same heritage colours as the rest of our men's cashmere jumpers. Designed in Edinburgh, made to be layered up and lived in, and with that easy cut, as simple to buy for someone else as for yourself.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do cashmere crew necks fit?
▼
With a little room in them. Every crew neck in the collection is cut relaxed or slightly relaxed through the body, so it sits easily over a t-shirt or shirt without pulling anywhere. Order your usual size and it will layer without needing to go up.
How do I choose between a crew neck and a V neck cashmere jumper?
▼
Mostly by what goes underneath. A crew neck sits closed at the base of the neck, so it works over a t-shirt or an open collar with nothing else needed. A V neck leaves room for a shirt collar to show, and is the easier one under a tie. Both are 100% cashmere, so choose by how you dress. Men's V neck cashmere jumpers.
How long will a cashmere jumper last?
▼
A lifetime, with a little care. Every jumper here is 100% cashmere, designed to be worn for years rather than a season, and the fibre gets softer the more it's worn. Kiltane has built its reputation on cashmere in Edinburgh since 1989, and our cashmere care guide will keep yours at its best.
Is it normal for a cashmere jumper to pill?
▼
Yes, especially in the first few wears. Cashmere sheds its shortest fibres early on, and wherever the jumper rubs they gather into small bobbles. It's the fibre settling rather than a fault. A cashmere comb takes them off, and once the short fibres are gone it happens far less.
